Walk with the Magi
As we enter the season of Epiphany, members of the congregation dress up as the wise men, shepherds, soldiers, and angels to enact the walk with the Magi around the block. Children, youth, and adults of the congregation gather to hear the story of the Magi from the three wise men who then lead the whole entourage around the block where they meet the shepherds, the soldiers, and the angels on their way to find the baby Jesus. They eventually come back to the church and discover Jesus and his parents in the Fellowship Hall where they offer their gifts. The event concludes with a simple meal and the infamous piñata bash.
