Midweek Lenten Services
Throughout the five weeks of Lent, Lenten services are offered on Wednesday evenings to provide an extra opportunity for reflection and meditation during this penitential season.
Meal Team for Lutheran Campus Ministry at UW
Members of ULC prepare a simple meal for the students at Covenant House once-a-month on a Wednesday evening and engage in conversation with them.
Grief and Loss Fellowship
On Thursday morning each month, members who have experienced the death of a loved one, or some other form of loss, gather to share their stories and support one another in their grief.
Almost every Sunday morning, the adults gather for a forum at 11:00 a.m. to hear a presentation on a particular topic, join in a discussion, or view a video.
Breakfast at ROOTS
Several Saturdays each month, teams of ULC members prepare and serve breakfast at the Young Adult Shelter located at University Temple United Methodist Church in the University District.
Community Lunch at Central Lutheran
Every Friday in November, members of ULC prepare and serve lunch at Central Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill for over 200 homeless and at-risk individuals. Occasionally, a meal also is served on Christmas Day and other select holidays.
Young Adult Brunch
Every second Sunday of the month, the young adults of ULC choose a place in the University District to eat brunch and share in a conversation about their lives.
We love to sing at ULC! Throughout the school year, our adult choir gathers every Thursday evening to rehearse. We sing a wide variety of challenging music and love making a joyful noise unto God.
For over 40 years, members of ULC have gathered to create quilts that are shipped around the country and throughout the world through Lutheran World Relief. From June 2014 to May 2015, our quilters completed 261 quilts
