Music at University Lutheran Church is a vibrant component of the worship experience.  Our twenty-voice choir of talented and dedicated singers performs music of all eras, from plainchant to modern.  Our focus on variety in liturgy has the University Lutheran Band leading the congregation in Latino, African, Taize, African-American and other special liturgies.  Our standard liturgies come from the Lutheran Book of Worship, With One Voice, and Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

Our congregation is a very musical one.  It includes a number of talented musicians who share their expertise with us throughout the year, and many who have musical backgrounds.  The sight-reading and choral singing from the congregation is remarkable.

Our new organist, William Bryant, is currently doing his doctoral studies in organ performance at the University of Washington under the guidance of Dr. Carole Terry.  He earned is master degrees in music in both organ performance and composition from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in May of 2013.   William brings a wealth of experience to our worship.

Music is a large and integral part of our worship here.  Come experience the joy of music at University Lutheran!
